What is a chiffon cake?
Chiffon cake was invented in California in the 1920s by insurance salesman Harry Baker, who later sold his secret recipe to Betty Crocker. It bridges the lightness of a sponge cake with the richness of a butter cake for something magically tender and fluffy - like a cloud, but cake.The batter is leavened with whipped egg whites, giving it a soft, airy texture and delicate crumb. The flavor is clean and subtle—perfect for pairing with our fresh mascarpone whipped cream frosting!

How to order

1. Place Your Order

Fill our your order request via the order form.For larger orders, wedding, brand events, send us an email with your request.We will respond within 24 hours to work with you to finalize the details and design your perfect cake. If you don't hear from us, check your spam folder before following up.

2. Observe the Lead Time

Orders require at least 5 days advanced notice to ensure the highest quality. Planning last minute? Reach out anyway and we'll see what we can do!*Note that orders with less than 5 days lead time are subject to a 20€ rush fee so that we can rearrange our operations to prioritize your order.

4. Pick Up Your Cake (or get it delivered!)

Cakes can be picked up from in Berlin Mitte (U2 Rosa-Luxembourg-Platz | U8 Weinmeisterstr). You’ll receive a confirmation with the pick-up address, date, and time once your order is finalized.We also offer delivery via courier for additional fee. You can enter your information in the order form to receive a delivery quote. Delivery starts at ~20€ around Mitte.

4. Pay for Your Cake

Prepayment required via PayPal/credit card or bank transfer to confirm your order.

Answers to Your Cake Questions

What flavor cakes do you make?

Our signature flavors are super soft vanilla, dark chocolate, and red velvet with buttercream, whipped cream, or cream cheese frosting. You can find our full list of classic and seasonal flavors here!

What are the allergens?

Cakes contain eggs and dairy products (milk, butter, etc.) unless vegan option is chosen.

Do you make vegan cakes?

Yes we make a delicious super moist vegan chocolate cake!

Do you also make cupcakes?

Yes! We offer box of 12 cupcakes for any occasion. You can customize the flavor and design too!

Do you deliver cakes?

Cakes are delicate and require special handling. We work with a courier who will deliver your cake with a car to minimize risk of damage during transport. Exact cost of delivery will be calculated based on your delivery address. It is usually around 25€ within the Berlin ring.

Do you have a cake available TODAY?

Most likely not! We are baking by preorders only. Once in a while we may have capacity for a same day last minute cake, but it's rare.

No Cancellations / No RefundsAll cakes are custom-made to order.Once payment has been received and the order confirmed, cancellations, refunds, or date changes are not permitted.In exceptional cases at our sole discretion, we may offer a partial credit, but there is no legal entitlement to this.5. Pickup and Risk TransferPickup takes place at the agreed date and time.Upon handover of the cake, risk transfers to the customer.We are not liable for damage caused by improper transport, handling, or storage after pickup.If the customer is more than 30 minutes late to the pick up appointment, we cannot guarantee that pick up will still be possible the same day.6. Design VariationsAll cakes are handmade. Minor variations in color, decoration, or design may occur and do not constitute a defect.7. Allergens and IngredientsAll cakes contain eggs and dairy unless otherwise specified.All products are nut-free and alcohol-free unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of trace allergens due to shared kitchen environments.Customers are responsible for informing guests about ingredients and allergens.8. DeliveryDelivery AddressThe customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including all necessary details such as house number, apartment number, company name, floor, or name on the buzzer.We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incomplete or incorrect address information.Availability at Delivery TimeThe customer must provide a valid phone number and ensure that they or an authorized person is present and reachable at the delivery address during the agreed delivery window.If delivery cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable or unreachable, this shall be treated as a failed delivery attempt.Failed DeliveryIf delivery is not possible due to:incorrect or incomplete address details,absence at the delivery location,inability to reach the customer within a reasonable waiting period (maximum 10 minutes),the cake will be returned to us.In such cases, the customer will be charged:the cost of the return transport, andan additional handling and re-delivery fee.Second Delivery AttemptAny further delivery attempt will be treated as a new delivery order and will require full payment of the applicable delivery fee prior to dispatch.We reserve the right to refuse further delivery attempts.No Refunds After Failed DeliveryIf delivery fails due to the customer’s responsibility and the cake is not collected or re-delivered, no refund will be issued.9.
